TODAY 18 March 2010

I saw this on another blog and thought it was a
great way to encourage expressing myself...
I tend to second guess my thoughts and feelings...
overthinking...that's why i've deleted and re-wrote the
previous line three times now.
Optimism tells me that is a display of my
determination to do everything with excellence...
but my second thought is that its a hinderance
to actually DOING anything, i just end up
thinking about it or making a list. oh my lists.
Must work on taking ideas through to completion (whatever that means!)
So, here is my TODAY.

Outside my window...its dark and quiet (12:43pm) under the darkness is a yard that is begging for some tlc and flower pots screaming for some fresh flowers (this wknds to-do!)

I am thinking...i have so many dreams and ideas

I am thankful for...my husband sleeping in our bed instead of overseas

From the office...
on the desk - torn jeans to be 'dealt with' (repair, return to store, reuse somehow?)
school desks - are clean and ready for tomorrows projects
why is the printer still on, i thought i turned it off...hmmm...

From the kitchen...the noisy, old, LAME-O refrigerator is whirring...hey, at least I have one!

I am wearing...my political t-shirt that reads "charter member of the vast right wing
conspiracy" there's a story there

I am creating...a blog post, hopefully

I am going...to bed soon, hopefully

I am reading...mostly coupon websites lately, wish i could write something fabulous here, but alas that's one more 'thing' to work on

I am hoping...for encouragement from the one who knows all the details of these thoughts, ideas, burdens, goals...from the one who put them inside of me in the first place: God!

I am hearing...the hum of my computer, the click clack of the keyboard, the train passing by

Around the house...i see things i've accomplished: vaccumed carpet, dusted furniture, photos of my family and i notice the things i still want to tackle: sewing projects, appointments to be made, grocery list that keeps growing

yes, i am still trying to keep this blog going...we are now in San Antonio and we are loving Texas...my girls are growing like crazy! Haedyn is changing so much, its so fun to see her face and know that the 'gears are turning' even if she can't talk much yet. And our sweet Caylee-bug will be 3 in a few days! Having a "very hungry caterpillar" theme party. I'll try to get a "real" post up soon...thanks for checking on us...God bless!
