Preggo - 7 months

Well, here's the belly shot for 7 months...I'm feeling much bigger than I did with Caylee at this point. I think the Florida heat is playing into that...we've determined that I MUST take a nap when Caylee does, otherwise I am useless after 6 pm. I used to think of it as a luxury to nap, now I see it as a necessity! Baby is growing great and I'm gaining weight just like I should.

Weekend Fun - Saturday

On Saturday we went over to our good friends' Chris and Jessica house to help Chris with the trimwork on his wood floor...well, Vic helped and Caylee and I just played with their dog, True.

Caylee just LOVES animals and has NO FEAR...it so funny how she just squeals with delight anytime we get near a doggie. She also really enjoyed climbing their stairs (our house doesn't have stairs) "up" and "down" are getting really clear to her now...

Weekend Fun - Friday

We had a great weekend - spent Friday evening at the local mall where they do free carousel rides on weekends. This was Caylee's first carousel ride and she was a bit unsure at first, but warmed up and loved it! She kept saying 'meow' to the cat and lion and tiger. She actually rode twice so both Mama and Dada could ride with her :)

Big girl bed

Last weekend we took the plunge and removed the side of Caylee's crib to make it a "toddler bed" since she was able to climb (and fall!) out of the crib's lowest rung. So, after a few episodes of her crawling out and wandering into the living room or our bedroom we have successfully transitioned. We've put a couple of pillows on the floor to soften the rolling-off-landing. I think in a few more days we won't need those anymore. This picture is from this evening after bathtime...she LOVES to see herself in the back of our digital camera so that's why she was pointing to the camera. Her hair is sooo curly when its wet! She really has learned the bedtime routine and doesn't really resist at all...I am constantly amazed at how easy it is to "put her down". Thank you Jesus!!

Baby Girl

I had another ultrasound yesterday just to check the baby's growth. Everything looks great! I even got to see her yawn really big, so cute! They confirmed its a girl and they estimated her weight at 2.6 pounds, I have no idea how that fits in with how far along the pregnancy is...but thought it was interesting info to pass along. So, other than keeping me up at night doing flips there is nothing more to report on the baby front. Due date is still Nov 1.

Preggo - six months and counting

This picture is a few weeks old...baby #2 is growing just right and I'm feeling good overall. I have started to waddle a bit when I walk and I'm really looking forward to the weather getting a little cooler. Sleeping is getting a little more challenging, but all in all the pregnancy is going GREAT! We found out we'll be having another baby girl, so we are in the midst of trying to decide on a name. Caylee understands that there is a baby in mama's tummy, and she waves and says "hi" to the baby sister. She also has given my belly a few kisses lately, so cute!!

I have an ultrasound this week so maybe I'll get a picture of the little one to post here.
